The Computed Radiography (CR) system from Alara Alara T110 is the most versatile and affordable digital solution, perfectly suited for your veterinary practice.

Diagnostic quality imaging is a very important part of creating a successful modern veterinary practice. In addition to improving your patient’s care, CR imaging will enhance and ease your communication with the patient’s owner.

Computed Digital Imaging – how does it work?
The Computed radiography (CR) system replaces the film, utilizing phosphor storage plates (PSP) which are flexible plastic plates coated with an x-ray sensitive photo stimulable material. Phosphor plates are durable and reusable thousands of times. Upon exposure to x-rays, the plate is scanned by Alara’s T-series scanner. Easy to use certified imaging software enhances the digital image to aid you in diagnosis. The images are saved to your computer and/or offline to comply with the HIPAA 7-year image archiving regulation and for easy retrieval for follow-up visits and insurance claim processing. In addition to improved patient care and workflow, your practice will recognize substantial savings in cost and valuable office space. (Savings Calculator)

Incomparable Ease of Use
No need for chemistry, processor maintenance or duplicating film. The Alara’s CR is equipped with its own (not a third party) integrated podiatry software with many essential digital image viewing features that automatically corrects under/overexposed X-rays.

Use your Existing X-Ray Equipment with Enhanced Diagnostic Quality
Just replace film with a Phosphor Storage Plate (PSP) and expose the plate, the same way you would expose film. In just a few minutes, the plate is scanned and the software-enhanced image is ready for viewing.

Efficient Time Management
CR technology saves you time and space with easy digital file storage and archiving. Retrieve and review patient x-rays, send them to a colleague or burn a copy on CD… all at the push of a button.
